OFFICIAL RELEASE
Game IHS1212 on September 27, 2024 was suspended in progress after a pane of plexiglass shattered. The board broke shortly before the third period was planned to begin as teams were taking the ice following the ice resurfacing, and the New Trier student section was violently shaking the board.
When will it be rescheduled?
An update will be provided when teams reschedule the game. There is a possibility that the third period of this game will be added on to another game of the season series.
- GBN hosts NTG on Jan 22 at 7:20pm (Northbrook Sports Center)
- NTG hosts GBN on Jan 31 at 8:00pm (North Shore Ice Arena)
If the period is added onto a date above, the third period would take place (and any overtime/shootout) before the new [originally] scheduled game begins.
What about the stats?
The game is currently removed from the database. The reason for this is to not award a game towards either team's record since it is not complete, nor continuously show a game in progress until the completion. All events and statistics are official and listed below, even though they will only contribute to season totals and game logs after the game is finished.
