Here's a sneak peak at what's to come this season for the Glenbrook North Spartans as told by head coach Evan Poulakidas:

Last year's record: 63-14-2

Players to look out for: 

Nick Mikayhlov led the SHL in scoring last season and Zach Knudson was All State and All SHL . David Rubin is a natural goal scorer and keep an eye out for a healthy Andrew Slovis.

How many seniors did you lose? Which underclassmen will be stepping up for you this year? 

GBN Graduated nine seniors. Charlie Alcorn looks to take big steps this year on offense. Tim Burke will be returning as a sophomore and should excel this year.

What challenges do you expect to face this year? 

GBN is somewhat young and inexperienced it will take some time to gel together.

What are you excited about this year? 

This team works hard and is hungry.

What expectations do you have this season? 

To compete for an SHL title and to go far in the State tournament.
